Project Description

The Cohen Quad expanded Exeter College’s 800 year old campus in the heart of Oxford, with undergraduate and graduate living accommodation (Student Rooms by another contractor), an auditorium, seminar rooms, social learning spaces, archive, café, roof terraces, offices and fellows’ accommodation.

Our scope of works here included timber and metal door sets, glazed screens, skirting, storage units and Joinery. This was a varied and interesting joinery package for us where we provided bespoke housing units for large display screens, acoustic paneling, window surrounds, bronze covered pigeon holes, & Bronze plated reception desk. The Bronze finishes were a challenge to ensure matching finishes across the units due to the different ways to achieve the bronze finish. We worked closely with a number of subcontractors including the provision of large movable storage facilities.

The Architect was pleased with our work here.
