Project Description

The Marshall building is a brand-new building for the London School of Economics. The new building which spans over 13 levels including two basement levels and will house the academic departments of accounting, Finance and Management and research centres, as well as new multipurpose sports and arts facilities.

On this project Swift Crafted were awarded the carpentry, joinery & FF&E packages. One huge challenge for this project was working in central London during the peak of covid. The whole team had to collaborate in many ways whilst maintaining all social distancing rules. Even with this challenge Swift worked through this to create a successful project with a high-class finish.

One of our standout pieces of work on this project was the curved panelling to the circulation areas on levels 1 & 2. The design and installation of these curved panels was challenging but the finish article says it all.
