Project Description

Finsbury Tower was an existing 1960s era London high rise that underwent a 12-storey vertical extension and extensive retrofit to see it rebranded as Hylo. A modern skyscraper that caters for the high demands of a new generation of London’s workforce.

Swift Crafted worked on the Cat-A fit out of 31 floors including basements and a large reception area. The reception was clad almost entirely in acoustic Oak panelling which is an eye-catching feature for the building entrance.

There were several challenges within the feature panelling design such as hidden door sets, stone and marble finish interfaces and incorporation of red and black trims. We developed the design to produce buildable details and the Client was pleased with the result.

Additionally, our high-end bespoke joinery and furniture that was installed in the front of house areas included marble top reception desks and leather clad sofas that offered integrated phone and laptop charging. There were several statement pieces that would attract prospective tenants for this diverse workspace.
