Project Description
The redevelopment of 29–35 Crawley High Street transformed a series of existing properties into high-quality multi-storey office spaces, combining traditional architecture with modern materials and detailing. The project demanded a balance of sympathetic restoration and precise craftsmanship to deliver contemporary, functional work environments while respecting the character of the original buildings.
Swift Crafted delivered a comprehensive carpentry and joinery package across the development. Structural works formed a key part of the project, including the construction of the mansard roof and installation of double-glazed rooflights, enhancing both the building’s structure and natural light levels. Traditional sliding timber sash windows were installed to preserve the heritage character of the façades.
Internally, Swift Crafted also carried out a full WC fit-out, incorporating vanity units, cubicles, and stone worktops, along with timber decking to outdoor areas. The finished development delivers a blend of classic detailing and modern performance.
