Project Description
This exclusive Spa and Wellness Centre project featured several technically complex and visually striking elements, where craftsmanship and precision detailing were key to achieving the client’s vision.
One of the standout features was the artwork corridor, designed in collaboration with artist Brian Clarke. The corridor showcased bespoke tiled walls complemented by a waterfall rill system, allowing water to flow elegantly along both sides of the space. Delivering this feature required close coordination, our carpentry and tiling teams worked together to batten out walls that supported both the tiling and the ceramic handrails. The corridor’s subtle floor falls and stepped transitions added to the installation’s complexity, resulting in a truly unique focal point within the spa that the client was thrilled with.
Swift Crafted also delivered an extensive bespoke joinery package, requiring detailed collaboration with the MEP team. This included feature timber ceilings with integrated lighting above the swimming pool, LED-illuminated lockers within the changing rooms, heated benches, and retail display units with concealed lighting. The joinery featured a refined fluted finish, adding texture and sophistication throughout the space, a perfect complement to the serene and luxurious atmosphere of the spa.
