Project Description
The Chelsea & Westminster Hospital Burns and Diagnostics Wards formed part of a significant redevelopment programme to enhance clinical facilities and patient care environments within one of London’s leading teaching hospitals. The project provided upgraded specialist wards, treatment rooms, and support areas designed to meet stringent healthcare standards and improve operational efficiency.
Swift Crafted was appointed to carry out the carpentry and joinery works, delivering a high-quality and durable finish across clinical, staff, and patient areas. Our scope included the manufacture and installation of timber doorsets, skirting, window boards, access panels, and bespoke joinery elements designed to integrate seamlessly within the hospital’s modern interior architecture.
Our team implemented strict health, safety, and infection control measures to ensure minimal disruption to patients and staff while maintaining programme continuity. Close coordination with the main contractor, Mace, and the project design team ensured all works were delivered to the highest standard of compliance, precision, and finish.
This project reflects Swift Crafted’s proven capability in delivering specialist joinery and fit-out packages for complex healthcare environments, combining craftsmanship, technical understanding, and sensitivity to live operational conditions.
