Good Luck Hope

Project Description

Located on the banks of the River Thames overlooking the O2 in Greenwich, Goodluck Hope is a landmark mixed-use development in Leamouth South, East London. The scheme comprises nine residential apartment blocks, complemented by commercial and community spaces at ground-floor level, forming part of the wider regeneration of London’s Docklands.

Swift Crafted was appointed to deliver the roof carpentry, coverings, and waterproofing works for Phase 1 of the development. The roofing package included PPC cappings, pitched Kalzip roof installations, single-ply coverings, and comprehensive flat roof waterproofing systems and finishes. The works demanded a high level of precision and coordination to ensure durability, performance, and aesthetic consistency across multiple roof types and interfaces.

Following the successful completion of Phase 1, Swift Crafted was further instructed to undertake the roof carpentry, structural steelwork, and roof coverings for Phase 2, encompassing Blocks F and G. As part of this phase, the team also implemented temporary waterproofing solutions to enable the early commencement of internal fit-out works across the remaining blocks at Goodluck Hope.

This project showcased Swift Crafted’s capability to deliver complex roofing and structural packages within large-scale, multi-phase developments — balancing technical detail, safety, and programme delivery to support a high-quality urban residential environment.
