Project Description
Swift Crafted was appointed to deliver the commercial core fit-out of Office Blocks A & B at Unilever’s new UK Headquarters in Kingston upon Thames, working in collaboration with Main Contractor McLaughlin & Harvey. This landmark development serves as Unilever’s central UK hub, designed to provide a dynamic, sustainable, and collaborative workplace environment for one of the world’s most recognised consumer brands.
Our package encompassed the fit-out of all cores and back-of-house areas, combining technical precision with high-quality craftsmanship. Works included the installation of micro-cement and resin floor finishes, wall tiling within WC areas, and a combination of metal and MDF skirting across lift lobbies, office cores, and service corridors. These materials were selected to balance durability with a refined, contemporary aesthetic in line with the architect’s vision.
Swift Crafted also supplied and installed all sanitaryware and washroom fittings, including vanity units, cistern boxings, mirrors, grab rails, and Doc M accessories, ensuring functionality, compliance, and visual consistency across all WC and accessible areas.
Further works included the installation of internal timber and metal doorsets with associated ironmongery, as well as PVC skirting and concrete sealers to plant and service spaces. Final detailing works such as mastic finishes to all wet areas were carried out to exacting standards, ensuring durability and a clean, seamless appearance.
This project demonstrates Swift Crafted’s ability to manage and deliver multi-scope commercial fit-outs of significant scale and complexity – combining attention to detail, technical coordination, and a commitment to quality within a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
