Project Description
The Marshall building spans over 13 levels including two basement levels and is home to the academic departments of Accounting, Finance and Management and Research Centres, as well as new multipurpose sports and arts facilities.
On this project, Swift Crafted delivered the carpentry, joinery & FF&E packages.
A significant challenge for this project was working in central London during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. We had to develop innovative ways of working to maintain productivity whilst adhering to all social distancing rules. Challenges were overcome by collaborating with Mace and adapting to new logistics strategies and coordinating with all trades.
The curved panelling to the circulation areas on levels 1 & 2 were standout elements of craftsmanship and we are proud of the seamless and high-quality finish.
